Caterpillar Cards

How it Works

5 easy steps

Step One
Register your school's or nursery's participation in Caterpillar Cards Christmas Card Project. Full instructions and templates will be sent to the co-ordinator.

Step Two
The co-ordinator gives the templates and instructions to each class teacher. Each pupil completes an A5 sized design for a Christmas card. This can be done as part of a School or Nursery project or as a homework activity. The teacher fills in the class & child's name in the space provided and returns the templates to the co-ordinator, who returns them to Caterpillar Cards in the envelope provided.

Step Three
Caterpillar Cards produce a sample Christmas card of each child's design with the child's details on the reverse. (Child's name, class and school details). The sample cards are returned to the school with the order forms.

Step Four
The parents are invited to purchase packs of 10 cards with matching envelopes. Cheques are made payable to the School or Nursery; for each pack of cards sold the School or Nursery retains a donation of £1.00.

Step Five
You email or post all the orders back to us, we process them returning the cards back to the School or Nursery by courier. All cards will be printed and returned within two weeks or receiving the order.

We aim to keep administration to a minimum; and from the beginning of June we will send out a comprehensive administration pack - providing:

  • guidelines
  • lesson plan ideas
  • templates
  • order forms
  • suggested letters for teachers and parents
  • A4 posters to advertise the project
  • sample cards
  • return courier envelopes

We also provide downloadable letters to parents on our 'download' page and you can view our gallery for artwork ideas.

We will guide and support you through every step and provide everything you need for a successful fund-raiser.
